Off-topic question: At any point, will Xanga consider letting us put up Amazon widgets using our Amazon Associates ID?
I’ve noticed that you are already hooked up with Amazon via the reading/listening/watching option. I am able to use the widgets on my other blog (typepad) and I am given a percentage of sales made through my recommendations. I’d love to be able to do this at Xanga as well.

a lot on xanga has changed. i can’t handle the madness! lol but i like the improvements. although, i can live without the google ad’s that take up all that room on the side of my site. anyway i can take those off? i know i can take them off with credits. but the credit price is to high. i can’t meet the standard.

@Sonicpong - friends lock your page! it’s on the same settings page as xanga lock – it’s just a little bit more secure.

Out of curiosity… Have you all noticed that the time stamps are not correct? They are off by several minutes. (Had me thinking my computer was all wrong but it is right according to this: http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java

@explosive - hi there! I know it’s a pain to sign in twice but that extra step is there for your security. I sent you a message to explain why. =)

@Natalia - It seems as if eProps have always been devalued. The default should be “Comment Only” so that eProps weren’t automatically given by the lazy. Then they’d truely have value.

@clichedguy - It’s in Xanga’s local time. Their offices are in a part of the world which foolishly celebrates Daylight Saving Time right now, which might also be part of your confusion.
@chernabog - alol actually i was looking for it on the main page, then this entry. but yeah screw daylight savings and the solar calendar.
Hey — I was gonna message theXangaTeam, but there’s no “send a message” button so here it is:
I am afraid to log out of Xanga.
Maybe you’ve noticed my little lightbulb is almost always on. Well there is a reason for that.
Every page you have to log into to use, like changing your Privacy Setting for example, I can’t log into.
Yet I never changed my password. So I don’t know WHY I can’t log into them.
But
I’m scared to death of logging out of Xanga. I won’t even close
Firefox; I always restart so I can “restore session” because I am so
worried I won’t be able to use my blog.
It’s been that way for
MONTHS now. I can’t log in on other computers than my own, even my
other computer with has the page cached. I can’t use Xanga from
computer labs or my boyfriend’s house.
Anyone else having this problem? Know how to fix it? Know what the deal is?
I’m living in fear. Fear with an X.
