ummmmm….. attacking means that sum1 is rapidly sending small bits of info to the xanga servers and because it is happening so fast the server responds to a lot of them asking the sender to resend the packet of info which ties up the bandwidth (high bandwidth=high speed)
i hope i explained it well enough for normal ppl to understand!!

Stealth Ghost, I’ve only been on Xanga a short time, and I’ve noticed its goods and its bads. I’ve had my share of complaints, but kept them to myself. I’ve managed to work the CSS and HTML and JAVA around the flaws of Xanga.
I don’t know about the others, but in a sense, I consider Xanga mine! It wasn’t free for me, as my site is rented for 1 year. When I, and other payed members complain, we should atleast get a reply for our money… and it sounds to me like many of the paying people don’t get there entire dollors worth!
Sorry Xanga Team. It has to be said. Not to hurt anyones feelings, as I wouldn’t have a payed for site if I didn’t think it was worth the money!

As for those upset about premium and all that. On other sites you would be lucky to have such large image hosting for the price. And the ability to back up ALL your entries on the server and save them to your computer is a godsend. So, don’t knock premium, if you don’t want to pay for it, you obviously dont want it.

Some people just don’t get that Xanga is FREE. All this ‘I hate Xanga b/c blahblahblahblah’ stuff is like suing someone for giving you a present that’s you don’t like. It’s FREEEEEEE! Just say thank you, or throw it away!!!!

As for those upset about premium and all that. On other sites you would be lucky to have such large image hosting for the price. And the ability to back up ALL your entries on the server and save them to your computer is a godsend. So, don’t knock premium, if you don’t want to pay for it, you obviously dont want it.
But back to my point… GO XANGA!

there seems to be a problem on the “My Comments” link on the left hand side…the link that i check to see who i propped and whose page i left comments on…everytime i click on that link it says there is a bug and i cant view the page…wat could the problem be??

hm. seems to me that all the “xanga haters” can’t seem to spell. you can use full words you know. and guess what. punctuation exists. use it. and like other people have said, xanga is free. you aren’t getting jipped out of your money. and if it screws up your computer, either get rid of that peice of shit you have for a computer, or take a class or two and learn how to use it. thank you.
