Broadcasting Open For All Users
Starting today, broadcasting will be available for all users. If you’ve got a webcam, you can broadcast live on your Themed Xanga site – just add the Xanga TV module to your page.
Some ideas to get you started on your broadcasting:- Lifecast! You’ve seen other Xangans give a 24/7 view of their lives, so why not give it a shot?
- Hold a Q&A session with your site’s readers. Use the Questions tab to answer any pressing quandaries your viewers might have.
- Have your own mini-concert – take requests and play a short set of original songs.
- Host a nightly show with your family or friends. Cover news, entertainment, sports or whatever you like.
- Show your users a different perspective you might not otherwise see – GoldfishCam, anyone?

Are you going to add “Webcam” to the default
“Weblog photos videos pulse profile” menu?
Featured webcams would also be cool on the front page.

Is the Footprints function not working this morning?

I like the new personal page for themed users…but is there a way that we can change the “look and feel” of that page just as we can change our theme? The white background is just too much for me…way too bright…and I want to make it reflect my current theme. Anyway, that’s my imput on that.

Hey Xanga team… I’ve spent the last 20 minutes or so looking for a way to contact people at xanga (unsuccessfully, other than finding this right here…) I was wondering what happened to the footprints?
I thought it was just me but apparently not… what’s up with the footprints??

Xanga! I have an idea.
You have heard of post secrets, right? It’s where people send in post cards with some type of picture and text when they say a secret, it’s completely anonymous and it’s very popular.
I was thinking maybe you could create some thing like feature blogs, where we could submit our secrets into a pool or something execpt completely anonymous and allow us to submit a picture.

but it has nothing to do with the broadcasting; that’s totally cool.
This has to do with the new private home page – not the broadcasting info.
The Feedback log on the new private home page appears to be broken. It shows no footprints to my page, and earlier today, it showed dozens.
I think something is killing the feedback info.
I have to jump on the Footprints bandwagon…I’ve been trying to check my footprints and it basically tells me that the page doesn’t exist.
broadcasting sounds intersting for those with webcams.
since i can’t send you a message, and i can’t find where to contact xanga, i shall post this question here in hopes of a response. When are you going to get rid of the “Click here to see if your Language Setting is correct!” paragraph that is always on our home page when we’re logged in. My language setting is correct, and I would love for that message not to be on my page.

I’ve been using the new private home page, and it linked me here to let you know what I think. And… I think I like it.
Can i keep / revert back to my current layout if i try a theme? or will i have to start from scratch again? wtheck are the themes anyway?
ok – hello – just want to clue any of you with horses i am a farrier and put up a Xanga spot to discuss how horses become lame from outdated practices at “Morihei” is my spot. hope to help out.

I’m going to try this! I already use stickam to lifecast, but we’ll see what happens!
Also, consider adding a chatroom module with the webcam; that would get more traffic to your site.
