  • these two users have been hacking into people's xangas, finding their passwords and messing with their page. although they are only doing this to cruel racist people, i'm afraid these hackers may spread and hack into random people's sites. it would be nice to add more security somehow.

  • I'm disappointed. I didn't know you guys deleted the option of linking a profile pic from a site outside xanga. I went to change mine which was a pic from an outside site with another and did not find out until my old one had been deleted that I could not do it. You guys should have posted that right on the profile pic link. Now I wish I didn't change it cuz it was a cool animated gif and can't go back to it or replace it with another. I don't wish to create profile pics within xanga nor do i know how to or have anything like a digital camera to make one. You guys should bring that option back. I'm sure many would agree. It's hard creating your own stuff online unless ur a real tech head and/or have a lot of time on ur hands.

  • PROBLEM WITH SETTING MY PROFILE.  everytime i save it only saves the setting for which ever category i click save on. for example when i'm under Basics and i save changes are made there, but restores the old setting for the ones under Interest or Contact.  hopefully you get this and can solve my problem, thanks!!  -Lisa

    I do have a complaint...once I accidently pushed the revert to default button so i had to do EVERYTHING over again. Is there a way you can undo the revert to default process after you press the button?

However, you need pay particular attention to Xangas that are spreading very harmful information to the young kids that frequent the Xanga community. I am speaking for a group of parents that are very concerned about the cutting Xangas and blogrings that are growing everyday with kids that write very casually and dangerously about cutting and mutilation. These young kids are very descriptive about their cutting, and post bloody wrist and razor pics, and post very descriptive cutting poems that glorify and make cutting sound romantic. Your terms of Use, clearly explains that you should not post anything that is harmful to minors. If you would only visit a few cutting Blogrings, you will see the danger that is out there. If they violate your Terms of Use, why is it that these cutting Xangas are growing in numbers day to day? The information and casual talk of cutting is alarming. Someone needs to reinforce Xanga rules, and start informing these kids that Xanga is not a Private Journal. They share Xanga with thousands of young kids. This is just too alarming to be ignored.    Thank you.

    One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. "Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!"

    "What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.

    CURRENTLY WE WERE BLOCKED OUT FROM OUR OWN SITES AND OUR PASSWORDS CHANGED. WHEN WE WANT TO RESET OUR PASSWORDS, WE FOUND THAT THE PASSWORDS TO OUR EMAIL ADDRESSES HAVE ALSO BEING CHANGED. WE WERE FORCED TO CHANGE OUR PASSWORDS AND DETAILS TIME AND AGAIN AND OUR PATIENCE IS RUNNING ON RESERVE NOW.

    WE ARE ALSO BEEN RECEIVING VICIOUS HARASSMENTS BY SO-CALLED XANGANS AND THEIR NUMEROUS CLONES. THEY ARE BADMOUTHING US AND SPREADING LIES IN OTHER XANGANS' COMMENT BOXES. THEY ARE ALSO STEALING OUR PICS AND WRITE ABUSIVE BLOGS ABOUT US. THEY ARE HAVING THIS STRANGE IDEA THAT MY SISTER, MY COUSINS AND I ARE ONE AND THE SAME, BUT THE TRUTH IS THEY WERE TAMPERING WITH OUR IP ADDRESSES TO MAKE US LOOK BAD.

    MY COUSIN reckless_eagle'S XANGA SITE WAS RECENTLY HACKED INTO WITH ALL THE CONTENTS DELETED AND TURNED INTO A PORNSITE AND FOR SEVERAL DAYS HE WASN'T ABLE TO RESET IT BACK BECAUSE THE EMAIL ADDRESS WAS ALSO HACKED AND UNACCESSABLE. DURING THAT TIME, OUR PHOTOBUCKET ACCOUNTS AND SOME EMAILS WERE WIPED OUT.

    WE SUPSTECT THAT THESE HACKERS WERE TRYING TO ELIMINATE ALL EVIDENCE THAT WE ARE DIFFERENT PERSONS SO THAT THEIR MALICIOUS BLOGS AND LIES CARRY MERIT. WE ARE PREMIUM PAYING XANGANS AND WE DESERVE PRIVACY AND SECURITY WORTHY OF THE MONEY THAT WE PAID TO XANGA.COM. PLEASE TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE ABUSIVE AND LYING XANGANS BEFORE THEY STRIKE AGAIN AND AGAIN :
